Why choose letterpress?

There are so many reasons why but here’s just a few...

Letterpress has an organic personal touch. Each piece of paper is run through my hands and examined while being printed. And in a world where everything is generic and mass produced, when you receive something that was made by hand it stands out.

Letterpress prints are created with plates of your unique design and are pressed into the paper with ink. Think of plates like a stamp that leave an impression in the paper.

One of the greatest benefits of letterpress is you have a wide variety in paper choices. With other printing methods such a digital you are limited to paper that can be run through the printer. Letterpress loves pretty handmade papers, deckled edged papers (paper that has a torn edge look), and heavier weight papers that cannot be run through a digital printer. I love holding something that has a bit of weight and texture.

Letterpress creates beautiful dimension! You can run your fingers over the surface and feel the impression made in the paper. It adds elegance and depth to you invitations, business cards, or whatever you’re printing.
